The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Jackson County (ACAJC) invites you to celebrate the artists, performers and creatives on Arts in Jackson Day – Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Arts in Jackson Day is in conjunction with International Artists Day.
ACAJC encourages all Jackson County artists to share their artwork and creative businesses on social media using the hashtag #artsinjackson and #JacksonMI
How to promote your art include:
- Share pictures of your work, studio space and/or artist materials
- Post videos of past performances
- Post sales information /links to purchase your artwork
- Spread the word about fellow creatives you admire in Jackson
- Promote upcoming arts and cultural events you’re participating in or planning to attend
Artists who do not use social media can still participate and we encourage you to use other promotional means to spread the word about your work via email, websites and events.
Just because you’re not an artist doesn’t mean you can’t participate in Arts in Jackson Day.
You can show your support for the artists in Jackson by liking and sharing their #artsinjackson posts on social media. Arts in Jackson Day would also be a great time to take an artist to lunch, visit a local museum or gallery, or buy that painting or unique piece of art you’ve had your eye on.
Throughout the day, ACAJC will also work to advocate for arts and culture to local elected officials, media representatives, and business leaders in Jackson County.

This October, Jackson is alive with color and it’s not just the leaves.
