You’re getting ready to tie the knot – congratulations! It’s such a joyous time, but there are also many important decisions to be made. From the venues to the photographer and everything in between… there are lots of puzzle pieces that have to come together to make your special day just the way you want it.
Whether your style is more traditional or offbeat, let me dispel a myth – you do not have to look outside Jackson to get everything you want and more.
The annual K-105.3 Bridal Fair was held on January 14th at the Middle School at Parkside. It was a great event for couples who are just getting their wedding planning underway, and also for those who just need to fill in that last puzzle piece – perhaps a photographer, or the perfect baker for their cake. One of my favorite things about this event is that the majority of the 50 vendors were from right here in Jackson, Michigan and they all came together to showcase what our community has to offer couples who are getting their lives started here.
Jackson is home to many beautiful historic churches and such a great variety of event venues, for starters. We have the brand new Forty Nine South if you’re looking for something ultra-hip with a retro feel, all the way to the Commonwealth Commerce Center downtown equipped with classy and contemporary banquet rooms in various sizes.
The perfect wedding dress is no further than a stone’s throw, either, and there is no shortage of talented photographers, stylists, DJs… the list goes on. I can vouch that all of these wedding vendors will not only listen to your desires, but show a genuine interest in your personality and tastes to ensure you have the perfect wedding.
If you missed the K-105.3 Bridal Fair, not to worry – all the vendors that participated are listed on our website at K1053.com so you can check them out and start planning the wedding of your dreams – right here in Jackson.
