If you’re looking for something that will test your skills and challenge your brain, then look no further. EpIQ Escapes is the first reality-based escape room in Jackson that motivates your group to work as a team, solve the puzzles and riddles to get out of the room in 60 minutes. Each room has a theme that will submerse you into a thrilling mystery of fun.
My family and I had the opportunity to participate in the newest room, “The Wacky Inventor’s Workshop, and what an experience! When we first arrived, the host, Shane, gave us the rules and background for Steampunk theme. Then everyone had to lock up their cellular devices in a secure locker and enter the workshop. That’s right! No Googling for answers because all of the puzzles are originals, created on spot, specifically for that room. The best part was working as a team with my family to solve the puzzles and find the clues.
Each room is rated by level of difficulty, the workshop just happened to be a 4 out of 5, which made it challenging but extremely fun. Even my 5 year old daughter was able to help us solve some of the puzzles! We didn’t end up making it out of the room on time, but boy did we have a blast! I can’t wait to go back and try out another room! I highly encourage anyone looking for something fun to do in Jackson to visit EpIQ Escapes.
