Michigan Wine and Beer Fest features local vendors

BROOKLYN, Mich. (April 29, 2015) — The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is the place to be on Saturday, May 9 from 12-7 p.m. Guests can browse the latest from vendors while sipping on all the great samples from the wineries, breweries and distilleries.

The vendors will be displayed throughout the festival. They are sure to feature something for everyone and you might just find a gift for that special someone.

Guests are sure to get their taste buds watering with delicious food options from such restaurants as Deet’s BBQ or Cottage Inn Pizza. Be sure to pick up that perfect snack from such places as Mindo Chocolate Makers or Popcorn Brokers Plus. Or you can shop the latest in wine and beer supplies from such places as Nectar of the Vine or Michigan Wine and Beer Apparel.

You can find the full list of vendors here: http://bit.ly/1GxV61H.

And the best part is you can purchase your selection right from the vendors and take it home with you that day.

“The vendors are an integral part of the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “The guests continually get a sample of their favorite wine, beer or hard cider and then go browse items at the vendors’ booth. We even have picnic tables to allow you to sit and enjoy mouth-watering food available. There is no better way to shop or try some food then while sipping on some wine, beer or hard cider.”

With under a month until the sixth annual event on May 9, the impressive list of vendors continues to grow every day.

The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is a celebration of Michigan wines, beers, hard ciders, distilleries and food – all at Michigan International Speedway, NASCAR’s fastest racetrack.

The craft beer craze is sweeping Michigan, making the state fifth in the nation in the number of breweries, microbreweries and brewpubs. The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest is a great place to try all the seasonal beers that the state offers.

The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is one of the only events that you can taste and buy beer from all over the state at one place. The on-site retail store makes it easy for you to take home your favorite wine, beer or spirit to share with family and friends.

Michigan wineries, breweries and distilleries will also be featured, making the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson a Pure Michigan event.

This event will once again feature the tastes and toasts of Michigan wineries, Michigan breweries, Michigan distilleries and Michigan eateries in a unique setting — the state’s only NASCAR Sprint Cup racetrack and the fastest track on the circuit.

Guests may sample wines, beer, hard ciders, spirits and food from Michigan vendors, and buy their favorite selection by the bottle or case. The festival’s on-site retail store will have select wines, beers and spirits available for purchase at the event. In addition to wine and beer sampling, seminars covering wine, food and other topics of interest will be held throughout the venue. Live entertainment throughout the day will also be featured.

Advance tickets for the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson are $30. Each ticket includes $10 worth of tasting tokens.

This event is for guests 21 and older.
