BROOKLYN, Mich. (April 14, 2015) — The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson features special painting classes for all those future artists.
When you are not sampling all the great wines and brews or listening to the entertainment, you can visit the Michigan Room where you can learn to paint. And the best part is you do not need to be an experienced painter.
Stop in to check out a special Wine and Canvas event in the Michigan Room at 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. An instructor will lead an hour-long class through various painting exercises. At the end you will take home a finished painting.
Advance $20 purchases can be made by calling 800-354-1010. The session is limited to 30 people, so be sure to get your tickets fast as this event is expected to fill up quickly. You must have an admission ticket to the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson to attend.
Bring in your wine, beer, hard cider and distillery samples from the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson to sip while you paint. Alcohol is not included in the event, but can be purchased at the cash bar located just outside the Michigan Room.
Wine and Canvas is not just a paint class, it is Art Entertainment at its finest. Sipping your favorite wine or cocktail, letting your inner artist out to create a masterpiece and maybe breaking into song throughout the night is what we have planned for you! Leave your cares at the door and dive in to the paint party!
The best part of all? You take your artwork with you and leave the clean up behind!
The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is a celebration of Michigan wine, beer, hard ciders, distilleries and food – all at Michigan International Speedway, NASCAR’s fastest racetrack.
The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is one of the only events that you can taste and buy wine from all over the state at one place. The on-site retail store makes it easy for you to take home your favorite wine or beer to share with family and friends.
After selecting those favorite wines, guests can purchase a bottle or a case of wine in the on-site retail store to take home.
Michigan breweries and food vendors will also be featured, making the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson a Pure Michigan event. New in 2015, hard cider and distilleries will also be featured.
This event will once again feature the tastes and toasts of Michigan wineries, Michigan breweries, Michigan distilleries and Michigan eateries in a unique setting — the state’s only NASCAR Sprint Cup racetrack and the fastest track on the circuit.
In addition to wine and beer sampling, seminars covering wine, food and other topics of interest will be held throughout the venue. Live entertainment throughout the day will also be featured.
The craft beer craze is sweeping Michigan, making the state the fifth in the nation in the number of breweries, microbreweries and brewpubs. The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest is a great place to try all the seasonal beers that this state offers.
And you can even purchase your favorite Michigan craft beers and wines in the retail store. MIS is one of only a handful of festivals in the state that has a retail store on site.
Advance tickets for the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson are $30. Each ticket includes $10 worth of tasting tokens.
This event is for guests 21 and older.
