The Jackson County Airport - Reynolds Field in Jackson, Michigan is dedicated to serving the aeronautical needs of the greater Jackson area. The 700-acre airport, equipped with an ILS system, is located just south of I-94 (Airport Road exit #137) and is home to over 100 general aviation aircraft ranging from single engine planes to business/corporate jet aircraft. The Airport is home to many businesses including the Jackson College Flight School, a full-service restaurant, a car rental company and the annual Jackson Bluesfest in June.
Aviation Heritage Park
The Aviation Heritage Park display includes a Lockheed T-33A Shooting Star jet, a larger than life bronze statue of a WWII aviator and two original monuments from when the airport was given to the City of Jackson in 1928. Coming in 2013, a monument dedicated to the training of WWII pilots, as well as a replica of the plane once flown by the famed German fighter pilot the Red Baron in WWI.
