This farm features some of the best horseback riding in the county, as well as covered wagon rides, buffalo feeding, a zip line and a picnic area with a pavilion. Riding lessons are available.
We offer that "Out West" feeling right here in Southern Michigan. The Buffalo Ranch is perfect for company outings, field trips, birthdays, get-togethers, reunions, and more.
The place started in 1973 with 25 acres. The first two buffalo were purchased in 1979. In 1995 horseback riding and a zip line were added to the ranch. The Daniels family purchased the ranch in November of 2007. Today, The Buffalo Ranch has approximately 25 head of buffalo and 240 acres of land. We offer wagon rides to feed the buffalo and guided horseback rides through our scenic trails. Our horses range from very gentle for those new to riding to spirited horses for the seasoned rider. You have 240 acres with trails to ride on. We have helmets for those that want them.
Group Tour Information
Groups of 7 or more are encourage to schedule an hour long covered wagon ride to feed the buffalo and go through the world on a zip line. Horse back riding lessons and trail rides are also offered for groups of adults and children (aged 6 years old and older) while children under the age of 6 may ride a guided horse. Groups may have access to the covered picnic area to enjoy either a prepared or brown bag lunch. Group visits usually last between 1.5 and 3 hours.
