The Foxtrot is a classic dance with a long-stride step put to 4/4 music. Foxtrot earned its name from Vaudeville actor Harry Fox, and became an iconic dance in the early half of the 1900s. It is in the same family as the Waltz, and borrows inspiration from the Tango, with simple charm and flowing steps put to energetic big-band music.
