Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival

For a craft beer connoisseur, the wider the selection is, the better. How does 150-plus beers sound? A trip to the Keeley Park and the Southern Michigan Winter Beer Festival will reward you with a mouth-watering selection of craft, specialty and import brews.

Too Many Choices? No Such Thing.

IPAs, stouts and seasonals, oh my! Participating breweries usually number well over 50, and often include Michigan staples like Bell’s, Founder’s and New Holland — in addition to out-of-state favorites like Deschutes, Ballast Point and Dogfish. You’ll even have the chance to go hyperlocal with brews from Jackson’s very own Grand River Brewery and 127 Brewing. For a complete listing, check out JacksonCountyFair.net

The Beer is Just the Beginning

Enjoying all that beer without comfort food would be criminal. How about freshly grilled sausage or barbeque? Pretzels? Steak hoagies? It’s all there. This indoor-outdoor event even features live music, giveaways and a cornhole competition. For those who want to sample the outdoor section, you can enjoy your brew next to one of several campfires. Now, if beer by a campfire doesn’t say Michigan, we don’t know what does.

The Details

All patrons will receive a 4 oz. tasting glass and 10 tickets, each redeemable for a sample of your choice. The festival takes place at Keeley Park. For tickets, visit their website.
