The Jackson Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce the third concert of its 68th season, to take place on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 PM, Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, March 25 at 2:00 PM at Weatherwax Hall, 215 West Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI.
The JSO presents Bach, Mozart and Beethoven as part of its Consumers Energy Signature Series of classical concerts. New Music Director Matthew Aubin welcomes you to turn off your cell phone, unplug and Escape into the sounds of a diverse array of composers.
What better way to get ready for spring than joining the JSO for 3 light-hearted works by the Greats? Virtuosic, Venezuelan-American pianist Vanessa Perez joins the JSO on Mozart’s 23rd Piano Concerto. Members of the JSO’s string section open the program with Bach’s uplifting 3rd Brandenburg Concerto. Beethoven’s jubilant 8th symphony closes the program.
