Chef’s Wine & Beer Dinner II

Chef Ken Veenstra will be returning to prepare another fantastic dinner! This four course meal will have a Lone Oak wine or beer paired with each course. Chef Veenstra has worked in some of the best restaurants in the state. The Grand Traverse Resort, The Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, The Park Place Hotel in Traverse City and the prestigious Orchard Lake Country Club, to name a few. This will be a great night of food, wine and beer! This dinner will be a take on the "surf and turf" theme. The first course will be a salad of mixed greens dressed with a Maple Riesling Reduction Vinaigrette, garnished with pear, crumbled blue cheese and candied pralines. The second course will feature Jumbo Shrimp with a Lemon Tamarind Sauce on a bed of Jasmine Rice. The third course will be Braised Beef Short Rib with a Michigan Cherry & Wine Demi Glace, served with Mashed Potatoes with Parsnips, followed by a fantastic Chocolate Silk Tower with a trio of sauces. Tickets are $55 per person which includes a generous pour of wine or beer with each course. Additional wine and beer will be available for purchase. Tax & gratuity are not included in this price.
