Comics, anime, video game tournaments, board games, card games, artist appearances and guest panels are only part of the festivities at this daylong event. It’s all right here at downtown Jackson’s Commonwealth Commerce Center. Is there a better way to spend a Saturday?

The Hero Jackson Deserves

Michigan's Entertainment, Gaming, Geek and Arts Experience, or “MeggaXP” for short, is a relatively new arrival to Jackson’s festival scene, and it’s itching to make a name for itself among the state’s top conventions. Special guests will be on-hand for photo ops, and cosplayers of all sorts will be in attendance. Your knowledge will be tested — and expanded — at your choice of 25-plus panels and contests, including the Family Feud spinoff, “Geekly Feud.” Sample the wares of more than 40 vendors selling artwork, anime, comics, collectibles, and a whole lot more.

Gaming Galore

No comic con is complete without some sort of gaming set-up. We’re talking Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat — all the classics and more. But the action isn’t limited to video games, MeggaXP has board and card games like Magic the Gathering, Settlers of Catan, Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, on top of tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder.

We’ll See You There

MeggaXP IV takes place August 25th, 2018 at Commonwealth Commerce Center in downtown Jackson. For full event details or to purchase tickets, visit this website.
