Hinkley Bakery is a family owned business that has been around since 1913. Current owner Brian Hinkley is the fourth generation of the bakery family. The number one selling doughnut at Hinkley Bakery is the chocolate crescent.

Chocolate crescents, apple fritters, glazed doughnuts, filled long johns, and more can be found within the walls of this 1890-wooded building with a brick façade. Hinkley is a beloved local bakery known for their handmade doughnuts. All the homemade doughnuts are baked in the original bakery oven; these tasty treats are old school. People drive from Lansing and Ann Arbor weekly to get their Hinkley doughnut fill. If you want a doughnut get there early, because on Fridays and Saturdays, the line runs around the corner!
