This challenging 18-hole public course is in a truly country setting. Located just north of I-94 and slightly west of Jackson.

Resort quality golf designed by Bill Newcomb. Calderone features wide landing areas, large greens and is eminently playable with five sets of tees ranging from 5,800 to over 7,000 yards.

The Cascades course, located in the southern part of the City of Jackson, is a course that a golfer must play if he or she wants to play one of the best public courses in Michigan. The course was established in 1929 and is operated by the Jackson County Parks Department. For our golfers convenience, in 2008, state of the art GPS was added to our fleet of carts.

Cascades is challenging, long by most standards, and features water and beautiful scenery. The signature hole is # 17, a par four measuring 383 yards from the white tees. A creek runs across the fairway 240 yards out and the approach is played to a severely sloped green guarded by trees and bunkers.

In an exclusive Golf Digest Magazine reader poll, the Cascades was a 4 Star Award Winner as one of the best courses to play in 2008 as well as voted Jackson Best Golf Course in 2007.

Nestled between the lakes of Columbia and Clark Lake, lies Clark Lake Golf Course and Domenick's Restaurant. Family owned since 1948, this course offers the public 27 holes to golf. The North and South Courses are Michigan’s longest regulation blue tees, totaling 7,580 yards.

From the well maintained greens, to the beautiful timbers that line the inside walls of the restaurant there is so much to experience. As you walk through the door to the restaurant you're greeted with a friendly, upbeat atmosphere. Whether your looking for a great spot to sit and enjoy the game, or a quiet dinning experience with the family the clubhouse can accommodate your needs.

Concord Hills Golf Club in Concord, about 10 minutes off I-94 and west of Jackson is a William Newcomb championship design that has earned 3-1/2 stars from Golf Digest Places to Play. The course is situated along a varied topography with some significant elevation changes from tee to green. The beginning holes of each nine play along a level terrain before elevated tees and raised green complexes come into play. Throughout, the rye/bluegrass fairways are defined by mature pines, spruce and hardwoods, creating a mix of tight and fairly wide fairways.

Three sets of tees play to distances and slopes measuring 6422 yards/125 slope, 6116 yards/122 slope and 5104 from the forward sets with a 125 slope for the ladies. On property is a grass range and putting/chipping green. The clubhouse includes a small pro shop plus snack area with pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, plus a full bar menu. 

Concord Hills newly built banquet facility offers packages for weddings, showers, business meetings, golf outings, or any special event. Concord Hills banquet facility provides a beautiful, picturesque natural surrounding and is an ideal setting for any type of special occasion. Our banquet room comprises of floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around balcony overlooking the golf course and can accomodate up to 200 guests for golf outings, meeting or banquets (240 guests for wedding receptions). Open all year round, located 20 minutes north west of Jackson, this 9-hole course features a pro shop, clubhouse and indoor golf on the Double Eagle golf simulator. Clubhouse amenities include food, beer and wine, pool table, two TVs and a banquet room. The patio has a large built-in grill.

Golf Course

Founded in 1923, Ella Sharp Park's 18 hole golf course provides a challenge for golfers of all levels. The course, restored and redesigned in 2001, touts two of Jackson County's most challenging golf holes (2nd & 12th holes) along with an array of other well manicured fairways and greens. Golf Learning Center

Ella Sharp Park's Golf Learning Center is a great place to learn how to play golf, brush up on your skills, or just go to hit a few golf balls. The center includes 25 tee stations over looking a well manicured range with 5 target greens. The center also has a sand bunker and a large putting green for practicing that short game. For those golfers that are looking for more than just hitting a few balls around, the learning center also has a wide range of classes available for youths and adults. Boasts 18 holes that are divided by apple trees, oak wood lots, stone walls, flower beds, hills, a valley, ponds, and over 45 sand traps. There is a double green with a bridge known as the Little Mac.

Owned and operated by senior PGA Tour pro Mike Hill this 18-hole layout has lush fairways and fast, true greens. Golfers play unhampered by big city rates or traffic. Mike Hill turned professional in 1967 and joined the PGA Tour in 1968. In 1989 Mike joined the Senior PGA Tour.
