How to Kill 3 Hours in Downtown Jackson – For Wedding Parties and Guests
Share this News Article
I’ve been there, so I can relate. You’ve just prepared for and sat through a wedding ceremony and now you have several hours to kill. Well fear not, downtown Jackson is the perfect venue to save you from an afternoon of boredom!
One suggestion would be to take a little tour of the Carnegie Library. Not only will it provide you with some excellent eye candy, but some great photo ops as well!
Afterward, saunter right over to Grand River Brewery for a glass of craft beer or wine.
If you are dragging a little from a long week, the Jackson Coffee Company is definitely your place! There is plenty of room to kick up your feet and relax while you get in your daily caffeine requirements.
Finally, if the schedule lines up with your break, The Michigan Theatre would be an excellent respite. They often offer kid-friendly movies, which would be ideal if you are entertaining an entire family of visitors. It is worth noting that all of these establishments are within several blocks of one another, and are easily walkable, even in the winter. I hope you enjoy your visit to our fair city, if you have time, come and say hi to me at my store, Beads to Live By.
Hope to see you soon!
