The Jackson Coffee Co is Jackson's only gourmet coffee roaster, which means that they produce the freshest cup of coffee possible.  It is why they have been voted "Best Coffee" every year.  All coffee is roasted at the downtown location.  This location features a 3,500 square feet, 1871 building in the heart of Jackson's business district and is filled with old-world charm, modern amenities, and a hip, jazz-inspired upstairs. It's worth stopping by just to check out the brass ceiling.   Live music is offered free of charge from 7 PM to 10 PM every Friday night. This store carries the widest selection of regular and sugar-free flavors in 4 counties and has something for everyone, even the non-coffee drinker. Visit our website at www.jacksoncoffeeco.com to see pictures of our store, who's playing this Friday, and for directions.

This classic commercial Italianate building was constructed in early 1870's by entrepreneur N.G. Davis. It has housed a grocery, oil company, flour and feed store, engraving company, dentist, corset company, shoe store, awning company, investment company, paint and wallpaper store, cabinet company, Democratic party headquarters, and now beautifully renovated to become the Jackson Coffee Company.

Victory Reconstructed, by Richard Hunt, corten steel, 1995, Jackson College

Victory Reconstructed, much like Summer Night Tree, is an abstract and non-representational sculpture. Hunt's work is in many important public and private collections across the United States and it has even been included in a temporary exhibition on the lawn of the White House in Washington. Like many of Hunt’s statuary, Victory Reconstruction is based on figures of the ancient Greek goddess of victory, Nike. The sculpture fits nicely into its setting and people are able to see it from several different levels, from the ground as well as from the top floors of the Potter Center.
