Day 2

Morning at Calderone

Get up early and be sure to have a hearty breakfast so you’re ready for 36 holes of beautiful, challenging golf. Start your morning round at Calderone, one of Southern Michigan’s top affordable public golf courses. The course is a mixture of links-style holes similar to St. Andrews and other great courses of Scotland along with traditional-style holes. Several of the greens at Calderone provide a challenge not unlike what you would expect if you were playing at the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. It’s an experience you will come to treasure for a lifetime.

Calderone Features:

  • Wide landing areas
  • Large greens
  • Five sets of tees ranging from 5,800 to over 7,000 yards.

Afternoon 18 in Downtown

Have a lunch break and get right back out to the links. When you’re ready for your afternoon round, head into Jackson and play Cascades Golf Course.

The Cascades course was established in 1929 and is operated by the Jackson County Parks Department. For golfer’s convenience, in 2008, state-of-the-art GPS was added to their fleet of golf carts. The Cascades is challenging, long by most standards, and features water ways and beautiful scenery. The signature hole is #17 and is a par four measuring 383 yards from the white tees. A creek runs across the fairway 240 yards out and the approach is played to a severely sloped green guarded by trees and bunkers. The pro shop offers a variety of accessories including apparel, and golf balls in case you need to replenish your supplies.

A full day of great golf comes to an end at one of the most beautiful parks in lower-Michigan. Sparks Park and the The Cascades, an illuminated waterfall, provide a great place to sit back, watch the sun set, and catch an evening concert.

Day 3
