How to Plan for Museum Day 2021

This year looks a lot different, but we are committed to providing exciting and interesting experiences for all visitors to Jackson County! A great way for us to do that this year, is offering both in-person and virtual experiences for Free Jackson County Museum Day 2021. Whether you're able to make a visit in-person to some of our amazing museums, or you're interested in learning more through a virtual experience, we've got you covered!

On Saturday, May 8th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, participating Jackson County museums will ALL be offering virutal experiences debuting throughout the day, and some museums will also be offering FREE in person exhibits and activities for guests. Museums offering in-person activities will require face masks, social distancing and other safety protocols as necessary.

Before May 8th, we recommend planning for which museums you'd like to visit in person to allow ample time to see your favorites. For those museums not offering in-person activities, we recommend bookmarking the page, www.experiencejackson.com/museumday or following our Facebook Event Page closely as we debut virtual experiences for each museum throughout the day. The best news, the virtual experiences will live on past Museum Day for visitors to watch. Those will all be available on the Experience Jackson website, Experience Jackson's social media pages, and each museum's website and social media.

Please contact each museum directly for more information on their participation in Museum Day.
