Race week is a great time to be in Jackson, Michigan! The zero-depth waters and at Splash Pad at The Cascades make it great for younger children. With dozens of water features spraying from all directions, kids will be entertained for hours! Spending a day at Nixon Water Park is easy to do, too. Their waterslides, varying pool depths, and water features provide plenty of fun for everyone.

Enjoying the naturescape that can only be considered pure Michigan is in abundance here in Jackson. Start by hitting some trails. With miles of pristine paths, your outdoor adventure will be never-ending. Next, experience Mother Nature from greens on one of more than 20 golf courses! Hills’ Heart of the Lakes is a beautiful course that’s close to Michigan International Speedway. Designed by PGA Tour Pro Mike Hill, the rolling hills, lush greens, and water feature makes this a spectacular course.

While you are here there is no better way to truly experience the area than checking out what makes us so unique, from landmarks to coney dogs, there’s something for everyone. The Cascades is one of Jackson’s most spectacular attractions. This illuminated, man-made waterfall has stood as a symbol of Jackson for over 85 years.
