Every Spring Ella Sharp Museum hosts a Sugaring, Shearing & Science festival in March to welcome the new season.
The farm lane at the museum will be bustling with activities like sheep herding, sheep shearing, and traditional craftsmanship. Stop by the sugar bush for live sap-to-syrup demonstrations. All six galleries will be open with free admission, and all historical buildings will be open to visitors.
We’ll welcome Spring with all of our favorite traditions including sheep shearing demonstrations by Thorne Farms and sheep herding demonstrations by Jim Valley.
Visit our historic buildings and the galleries while you are onsite, including our newest hands-on exhibit, “My Sky” that opens February 15, 2020.
