The museum will be decorated throughout its main floor with handmade Victorian ornaments including a 9-foot Christmas Tree. The home was built in 1883 for local Concord resident Daniel Mann, his wife Ellen and daughters Mary Ida and Jessie Ellen. A single-family home for more than 85 years, the house and all its contents were donated to the State of Michigan in 1970, by the Mann sisters.
The museum is one of 13 historic sites operated around the State of Michigan by the Michigan History Center, Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
