A little bit of local advice: Don’t use the front door at Roxy’s. Doing so would be just as bad as standing on your chair and screaming “I am not from Jackson!”

Established in 1926, Roxy Café allows, and encourages, patrons to enter through the back-kitchen entrance. Independently owned and operated by Jim Sarata for 35 years and running, this is one of the best places to get breakfast in Jackson. It is open seven days a week and breakfast is served all day, every day. Everything is fresh and homemade, the Roxy slogan is “We make it, we don’t open it.” This restaurant is decorated with Coca-Cola memorabilia, offers bar seating, and in the summer, you can choose to sit outside!
