Grant Application
Experience Jackson is excited to announce the availability of micro grants designed to enhance the technological capabilities of event venue spaces within our community. This grant aims to support venues in acquiring essential tech equipment, such as projectors, audio systems, microphones, and screens, to improve the overall experience for event attendees.
GRANT DETAILS
- Grant Amount: Up to $3,000 per venue (while funds available)
- Purpose: To reimburse costs associated with purchasing new audio/visual equipment for event spaces
- Eligibility: Event venues located within Jackson County
- Reimbursement Basis: Equipment must be purchased and installed for reimbursement
ELIGIBLE PURCHASES INCLUDE
- Projectors
- Screens
- Microphones
- Speakers
Note: Ineligible items include free-standing equipment (portable screens, projectors, etc.)
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Online Application Submission:
- Complete this online grant application form.
- Experience Jackson Review Process
- We will be in contact regarding your application approval/denial or changes.
- Equipment Purchase:
- Upon approval of your application, proceed to purchase the equipment and schedule installation.
- Save all receipts and documentation related to the purchases.
- Reimbursement Request:
- Submit the purchase receipts and any required documentation through the Experience Jackson website.
- Ensure all submissions are made within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for reimbursement.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrated need for tech upgrades
- Anticipated impact on event quality and attendee experience
- Feasibility and clarity of the proposed tech enhancements
IMPORTANT DATES
- Application Deadline: October 1, 2024
- Reimbursement Submission Deadline: 30 days from the date of purchase
