Now through noon on Friday, Oct. 25th, Experience Jackson is accepting nominations for the Omotenashi Award that will be presented at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting the evening of Thursday, January 30th at Jackson College.
Omotenashi is a Japanese word that represents the act of providing detailed service by always putting guests or customers first, helping the create an easy, relaxing and memorable experience. This award recognizes the organizations that are excelling at taking care of visitors, which in turn, equals return visitors to Jackson and creates a positive perception of the Jackson community.
In addition to this award, the winning organization will also receive $1,000 in advertising by Experience Jackson during the 2020 year. The use of this funding will be mutually agreed upon by the winning entity and Experience Jackson.
To nominate an organization in Jackson County that provides excellent customer service, please submit the name of the organization and the reason why they should receive this award for showing exceptional customer service.
Nominations close at noon on Friday, October 25th. All nominees will be sent a nomination form to complete and return to Experience Jackson. All nominees must meet the criteria established by Experience Jackson and return the nomination form by Friday, November 22nd to be considered for the Omotenashi Award.
Experience Jackson's mission is to strengthen the positive perception of Jackson County as a must-visit destination to increase revenues and stimulate economic development and growth for the community.
