The Water’s Fine

Ice hockey is so popular in Michigan that some people might feel more comfortable on ice than on dry land. Drop in for a pick-up game, figure skating lessons or open public skating at Optimist Ice Arena. Allskate Fun Center offers roller skating and laser tag for those who prefer solid ground — and makes a great spot for kids’ birthday parties. If you’re looking for a place to do kick flips and nollie’s then you’ll find yourself at home at Nixon Skate Park on the four foot halfpipe, bowl, ledges and handrails all summer long.
