The Blues Fest has been a Jackson classic for decades, and we’re excited to see its return at a new location.
Art, Beer, & Wine Festival

One of June’s mid-month delights is also making its return. Art…beer…wine…what more could you want in a summer festival? Fourth of July Fireworks
July 4
What is the Fourth of July without fireworks and a sweet treat from Cascades Ice Cream Co.? Bring your blanket to Cascades Park on July 4 to participate in one of Jackson’s favorite traditions.
Faster Horses Festival
July 14-16
If you’re a country music lover and don’t want to travel all the way to Nashville for a good time, join the fun and excitement of the Faster Horses Festival. Spend your days in the sun surrounded by good vibes and high-energy concertgoers and end your night with some of the biggest names in country music.
Hot Air Jubilee
July 21-23
Watching hot air balloons float through the sky is one of the most magical things you can witness. Every year, we welcome a fleet of balloon pilots to soar over scenic Jackson. Not only is 2023 the 40th Anniversary of the Hot Air Jubilee, but it will also be the finale to a week of female ballooning competition as Jackson hosts the Balloon Federation of America U.S. Women’s Hot Air Balloon National Championship for the first time. With tents for kids, adults, live music, food trucks, and more, it has everything you could be looking for in a family-friendly summer festival.
Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
July 21-23
The Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament has hyped up downtown Jackson’s streets for years. There’s enough basketball to keep you entertained for the entire three days the tournament lasts. If you’re just passing through, stop and watch the Heroes, Teachers, or even the Mascot Tournaments.
Jackson County Fair
August 6-12
Come out and enjoy a day or two at the fair riding rides, enjoying livestock, events, and tasty food! New in 2023: Both grandstand shows are moved to the end of the week, where they’ve traditionally kicked off at the beginning. This year’s concerts feature both the Steve Miller Band and Russell Dickerson among others.
Civil War Muster
August 26-27
In the few years Jackson didn’t have its renowned Civil War Muster, the community definitely felt that missing piece. Now that it’s back, it’s better than ever! Located at Cascades Park, there is still plenty of room for reenactments, historically accurate vendors, and food for all!
