Cascades Golf Course

If you are a golfer looking to play one of the best public courses in Michigan, the Cascades course is where you should plan your next trip!

The Cascades course was established in 1929 and is operated by the Jackson County Parks Department.

The Cascades is challenging, long by most standards, and features water ways and beautiful scenery. The signature hole is #17 and is a par four measuring 388 yards from the tips. A creek runs across the fairway 240 yards out and the approach is played to a severely sloped green guarded by trees and bunkers.

Watch how the course expert plays #17 and see what it takes to go for the green.

In an exclusive Golf Digest Magazine reader poll, The Cascades was a 4 Star Award Winner as one of the best courses to play in 2008. It was also voted “Jackson Best Golf Course” in the Jackson Magazine in 2007.
