As the name suggests, this winery is located in an 1870s-historic schoolhouse; and the Burtka Family has been educating visitors in award-winning wines for four generations.
When you get to the Old Schoolhouse, grab a seat at the knotty pine bar and receive a lesson in their award-winning wines and hard ciders. While you are at it, check out Cherry Creek's freshly made Butter Fudge, or taste their Michigan Cherry Preserves.
At this winery, you can shop for Michigan products and wine gifts, and even create a special gift basket for someone. The café menu is updated throughout the year, and is usually available Wednesday through Saturday starting at noon; you do not want to miss out on these savory soups, sandwiches, salads, paninis, and more.
