Gilbert Chocolates creates a variety of premium gourmet chocolates in Jackson, Michigan; coating their assorted candy fillings with milk, white, and dark chocolate. Always inventive, the chocolate creators try different combinations and variations of chocolate, including an out-of-this-world liquid chocolate to add to your beverage or enjoy by itself!

The company was founded in 1900, with John O. Gilbert's commitment to use only the best ingredients available to make the highest quality chocolate products. That level of quality commitment is followed today, using the original, 100-year-old recipes as well as newer handmade chocolate creations, still made preservative-free. Handmade chocolates perfected by Mr. Gilbert allowed him to market the phrase "The Chocolate of Connoisseurs" in the early 1920s. He worked with the Hershey Chocolate Company to develop a special blend of dark chocolate for Gilbert Chocolates, and even supplied special chocolates to American troops during World War II.
