Owner Dan Huntoon uses 30-plus years of experience to grill up some of the best beef brisket, baby back ribs and smoked hot links in the state. Mix and match with a three-meat platter and top it off with traditional sides like potato salad and baked beans. Meats are slow-cooked in a pair of oversized smokers that greet you from the gravel parking lot, where outdoor and indoor dining is available. There’s nothing fancy about West Texas Barbeque Co., just good old-fashioned Southern cooking — and plenty of napkins.
